Being a part of this show has been a highlight of my career. I was chosen to be a judge due to all the skills, qualifications and experiences I've accumulated throughout my time in the music industry. I think the running community are a lovely, supportive bunch of people. I’ve lost count of the amounts of times a simple gesture like a smile or a thumbs up from another runner whilst out on my own has really lifted my spirits and helped me through. I’m fairly new to running and very slow but I make sure I celebrate all milestones and personal bests. I’ve learnt that comparison really is the thief of happiness and when I run I don’t compete with anyone but myself.

Cardiff’s School of Chemistry has a very good reputation. It has Russell Group status, the facilities are good and the standard of education high. I think back fondly to my time spent in classes and lectures, where I learnt so much that I have been able to successfully apply in my career thus far.
