“I was convinced I’d never be able to run again”: taking on the Cardiff Half for cancer research

Alumnus and university staff member Abyd Quinn-Aziz (MPhil 2012) has been a keen runner since his youth. Following some health problems, he’s recently returned to running and has set himself the challenge of this October’s Cardiff Half Marathon.

Led by Cardiff University alumnus Dr Matthew Jones (MA 2017), Assistant Instructional Professor at University of Florida, the students attended a special networking event to connect with Cardiff alumni working in law and politics.

Reverend Delyth Liddell (BTh 2003, MTh 2014) is a Methodist minister, and is the Coordinating Chaplain for Cardiff University’s Chaplaincy. The Chaplaincy provides a place of friendship, hospitality, reflection, prayer, support and dialogue, where students and staff can engage socially and explore faith and spirituality. Each of the chaplains comes from a different faith and religious background.
