If you’ve already heard of LinkedIn Learning , you’ll know that it’s an online platform containing thousands of short, online courses around professional, technical, and creativity skills. New content is added every week, and whether you want to improve your interview skills, better manage time, (or people), or even learn how to become an urban artist, there is something for everyone.

An individual, one year subscription usually costs £200, but we’re delighted to announce that all students and staff now have free access to LinkedIn Learning for the next three years. But what does this mean? And how can you use it?

LinkedIn Learning courses can be used in a variety of ways. You can complement and augment your CPD and curate your own ‘learning pathway’ to improve your personal, professional, and creative skills. You can also curate content for your students and expand the number of online resources built into programme and module design. You can even curate content for your teams.

Vitally for students, as well as having a richer online experience in their courses, access to LinkedIn Learning will also be a valuable way of developing core skills for learning and employability.

If you would like to start exploring what LinkedIn Learning has to offer, you can make use of the site now by visiting www.linkedin.com/learning/activate to receive personalised signup instructions and activate your free licence . All you need is your Cardiff University email address.

We recently delivered an introductory session for staff and students. View the student session here:
