Using Grademark for marking and feedback
19 February 2015After you have received and read a piece of your students’ work, you can use a tool in Turnitin called ‘GradeMark’ to feedback comments directly on the work, just as you might with a paper version. This narrated screencast by Allan Theophanides shows you how to use GradeMark for grading and commenting, as well as showing how you can save time doing annotated feedback by creating your own banks of comments in GradeMark’s ‘Quickmarks Manager’ (which you can then reuse across assignments and modules).

A text guide on how to use Grademark can be found here. Alternatively, if you would like further guidance on how to use the Quickmarks Manager information can be found here.
As mentioned in our video guide, you can also use an iPad to mark with GradeMark. For a guide on how to do this, please take a look at this excellent video created by Tim Smale at Keele University.
