LinkedIn Learning serves as an exciting online learning platform with a great variety of professional content to support your development of professional, creative, and technical skills both as students and budding professionals!

Jade Tucker and I are currently working as student champions on the LinkedIn Learning project alongside our degree courses. Our work revolves around promoting the platform to students through blog posts and by identifying and curating exciting content based around topical themes.

Jade’s work with the project so far has involved user testing the service, as well as detailing her experiences of using the platform in this blog post. Currently, Jade and I are working with Rebecca Ferriday from the Learning and Teaching Academy on improving LinkedIn Learning’s social media presence.

I have been working on identifying content on LinkedIn Learning that is both relevant and topical and grouping the content into curated learning paths to be uploaded onto LinkedIn Learning.  For example, I recently created a learning path about tips for house hunting to coincide with the mad rush for securing that prized tenancy contract for the next year! I found videos on managing stress, budgeting, conflict resolution and renting properties.

Moving forward, we hope to continue to find exciting ways to engage students with all that LinkedIn Learning has to offer in supporting them in their academic and professional journeys.
