Discover what students love in Learning Central

9 September 2025

Marianna is a Learning Technology Officer at our Learning and Teaching Academy. She works closely with student champions. In this blog, she highlights the features students find useful, engaging, and enabling for active and independent learning, based on their experiences and feedback. She also explains how you can make the most of the features available.

As we approach the new academic year, we have been exploring which features of Learning Central truly resonate with our students. From personalised dashboards to interactive feedback tools, our virtual learning environment is designed to support learning effectively, and more resourcefully. It’s the center of the student digital experience. I’ve been working with student champions over the last year to improve our digital learning environment. I wanted to capture what really matters to our students, so I ventured out to meet some of them to discuss what it was they really liked about our Learning Central.
