Professors Leighton Andrews and Calvin Jones discuss the new Welsh First Minister’s campaigning platform of ‘21st Century Socialism’ and its potential to change Wales and the Welsh economy.

Taking in the foundational economy, procurement, transport, environmental issues, housing, construction, devolution and, of course, Brexit, their discussion addresses some of the major issues of Wales’ political and economic history in the hope of shedding some light on its future.

Professor Calvin Jones is Deputy Dean for Public Value and External Relations at Cardiff Business School.

Leighton Andrews is Professor of Practice in Public Service Leadership and Innovation at Cardiff Business School. He is a former Welsh Government Minister.
