Pilot Study on the Design of an Operational Flood Warning System
This is a pilot project for Transport for Wales (TfW) and aims to:
- assess the availability, solution and shortcomings of existing system data sets in the Core Valleys Lines (CVL) of the Transport for Wale (TfW) networks, in particularly the catchment of
- the River Cynon between Aberdare and Abercynon;
- the Rhondda River between Tonypandy and Porth; and
- the Rhymney River between Rhymney and Pontlottyn.
- design a project management programme for the development of an operational flood warning system.
My Role: PI
for overseeing the progress of the project.
