The School of Physics and Astronomy is delighted to host an Ogden Science Lecturer, a position held by Dr Chris North. By working with the Ogden Trust, we hope to be able to expand our education and outreach programmes, and work with the other Ogden Science Officers around the UK, and with the Og to share ideas and expertise. The particular focus of our activities as part of this is to expand the outreach and education activities of the Gravitational Physics and the Condensed Matter Physics groups.

We will also be hosting the School Physicist of the Year awards in Wales, an inviting schools to nominate their most promising Year 12 A-level physics student for the prize.
