Message from the Vice-Chancellor

Dear colleague,

You will be aware that following their recent ballots, we have been in further dialogue with the UCU.

I am pleased that thanks to those constructive conversations, we have reached an agreement that means the assessment and marking boycott due to start this Monday has now been withdrawn.

Throughout, all parties have been keen to try and minimise the impact any such action would have had on our students, and I believe all parties will agree this is welcome news.

Further updates will follow next week, but I wanted to share this important update with you today.
