Dear student,

On Monday I sent an email to update you on the University and College Union (UCU)’s plans to proceed with industrial action this spring.

Everyone involved is keen to minimise any impact such a strike would have had on you, and I’m pleased to let you know that the assessment and marking boycott due to start this Monday 23 May has now been withdrawn.

I will send you further updates next week, but I wanted to share this important update with you now.

I’d also again like to wish you the very best of luck in your exams. If you’re worried about them and would like to speak to someone, please do get in touch with Student Connect or visit us in the Centre for Student Life. You can take a break from your studies in our dedicated relax room in room 2.25 until 27 May.

Best wishes,

Claire Morgan
