How to Get to Cardiff as a New Student

Airport to City Center:

If you’re flying into Cardiff Airport, you can take the T9 bus, which runs every 20 minutes and costs around £5, or grab a taxi for about £33. The journey takes roughly 30 minutes. Alternatively, there are train services from Rhoose Cardiff International Airport station to Cardiff Central.

For those arriving at major airports like London Heathrow, you can take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station and then catch a Great Western Railway train to Cardiff.
