Social Eats

Our first choice, Social Eats is a fan favourite among Cathays dwellers. Offering excellent speciality coffee, homemade bakes and a variety of bagels, and sandwiches as well as a cooked menu. A particular favourite of mine is the stuffing, cranberry sauce and rocket bagel from the seasonal menu. You can choose your favourite breakfast option here. This local café is well-loved by Cardiff Uni students and is a must-visit while studying here.

Blossom Café

Blossom Cafe’s Turkish Breakfast

Blossom Cafe is a favourite in Roath, offering yummy options of classic options like beans on toast, to a delicious shared Turkish breakfast. Dubbed a ‘dreamlike cafe where roses are always in bloom’ this is a great option to relax and chat for hours with friends over a shared Turkish breakfast. There is a variety of fresh bagels, pastries and a brunch and lunch menu, with an option for afternoon tea. Being always greeted with a friendly smile, Bloom Café always offers a wonderful environment and is a great local café to support.
