Language and its potential in prisons

Tuesday 9th May (Week 12) from 11.10pm – midday in room 3.58

We will be discussing two articles on the topic of Prisons and Restorative Justice. The articles we’ll discuss are: The Language of incarceration and and article on “Person Centred Language”. Thanks very much to Savannah, from the MA in Forensic Linguistics for selecting these.

We will discuss the potential for language choices to change people’s views of others and themselves.
