29 October 2013

Stress Awareness Day 2013

The University libraries, alongside the Counselling service and Students’ Union are marking National Stress Awareness Day on Wednesday 6th November.

Stress affects us all differently, and National Stress Awareness Day aims to raise awareness of the effects of stress, and the strategies and resources that can help address and manage it.

Visit your library on Stress Awareness Day, 6th November, and find out more about the support available in Cardiff University for coping with stress.

A range of information, advice, workshops and support will be available on the day, including:

  • Mindfulness and stress management workshops in the Arts and Social Studies and Trevithick libraries between 12pm and 2pm.
  • Drop-in meditation sessions in Bute Library from 12pm
  • Stress balls, and other give-aways!
  • And much more…

Head over to your nearest library on the 6th November to learn more!

Our library slogan on the day will be ‘Just Ask!’, where we aim to increase the awareness of our library services that we offer to help you through your studies. Keep an eye on the the hashtag #CUJustAsk on Twitter to follow the libraries updates during the day.
