Noise Awareness in the Libraries

A noise awareness campaign is running in the University Libraries from Monday 28th April. Coinciding with the summer exam period, the campaign aims to make all library users aware of the location of silent, quiet, and social areas in the libraries.

Noisy neighbours? Send a text
Many of the libraries will be launching a text message service for library users to notify a member of staff, anonymously and discreetly, if their work is being disturbed in a silent or quiet zone. The number to text can be found on the signage throughout the library.
