New RLUK agreement extends library access for staff and researchers
6 January 2015Research Libraries UK (RLUK) has made it even easier for Cardiff University staff and researchers to use other libraries in the UK and Ireland.
RLUK has developed a new Access Agreement where members have agreed to open up access to both their printed and online collections (where permissible) to staff and researchers from the RLUK community.
This agreement builds on the existing SCONUL Access Scheme by including legal deposit libraries and the Walk-In Access to Electronic Resources Scheme.
If you would like to make use of the RLUK Access Agreement do double-check if any registration is needed and what the opening hours of the RLUK Member Library are before your first visit. A list of RLUK Members and links to their websites are available on RLUK’s members web pages.
More information regarding the RLUK Access Agreement can be found in RLUK’s news web pages.
RLUK is a consortium of 34 of the major research libraries in the UK and Ireland. RLUK’s aim is to optimise the contribution that research libraries and collections make to the economic, technological and cultural success of the UK and Ireland.
