NATO Summit – Access to Libraries
29 August 2014The following information has been taken from the University’s NATO Summit advice webpage:
The Bute Library, Architecture Library and the IT Room in the Glamorgan Building will all be closed on 3, 4 and 5 of September.
The Biomedical Sciences Library in the Sir Martin Evans building will be inaccessible to students on 4 and 5 of September due to road closures, but books required urgently will be retrieved twice a day, contact the Science Library for more information.
Other facilities are expected to be open according to their normal vacation opening hours, which are available at www.cardiff.ac.uk/insrv/opening. Students must carry their ID cards at all times as the Police are likely to be challenging any individuals deemed to be in sensitive areas.
Online services will remain available, including the Ask a Librarian online chat facility. You can also follow the main @cardiffunilib Twitter account during the summit for updates.
