The Trial of the Templars in Germany

The manuscripts recording the proceedings against the Templars in Germany were lost in the early nineteenth century; but before they were lost the French scholar François J. M. Raynouard analysed them and published brief extracts from them in his study of the Templars’ trial, Monumens Historiques, Rélatifs À La Condamnation Des Chevaliers Du Temple (Paris: Adrien Égron, 1813).
