Migration crisis hits the headlines
Issues relating to immigration, refugees and asylum seekers were rarely out of the news in many EU countries. We helped people to keep up to date with the latest developments by adding daily updates to European Sources Online, creating a new information guide, and hosting an event.
Thomson’s travels
Our Director Ian Thomson had a busy year. In addition to his regular training commitments in Poland, Belgium and The Netherlands, Ian travelled to Germany, Spain and the USA.
Cardiff EDC events
Along with our annual Erasmus Reception and Europe Day Quiz, we held events on EU Careers, Free Movement and Attitudes to Immigration, Refugees and Asylum Seekers. We also hosted our second EDC Network ESO Project Training Course.
