Introduction
7 November 2014Welcome to my blog. It’s my role to help you and the University get the most from IT services to reduce environmental impact (and support your research – please see my other blog).
Please have a look at our Sustainability web area for
- Hints and tips for reducing environmental impact and cost (e.g. tips on saving paper and reducing printing);
- Some of our leading initiatives which save the University hundreds of thousands of pounds, and thousands of tonnes of carbon dioxide, every year;
- An opportunity to suggest your ideas for making our services, and the University overall, more sustainable.
On the More Sustainable Information Services web area, you may see the INSRV (Information Services) name in some places; however the University IT Service has now de-merged from the University Library Service. The branding will change somewhat over time, but we will of course continue to work very closely with library colleagues and other professional services on joint projects, services and initiatives.
