Work experience and volunteering is a great way for you to gain real life experience while studying and make yourself more employable.
Cardiff University’s Careers & Employability team have dedicated staff offering support to students and providing links to organisations with opportunities for Cardiff Uni students, and this month there is a great range of events taking place to support you.
The Work Experience & Volunteering Fair is an annual event, held each spring to promote the benefits of work experience and how accessible getting experience is for students, including:
- Details of local, national and global opportunities
- Help finding paid & non-paid roles to suit you
- An opportunity to meet staff from Careers & Employability, Global Opportunities and Student Volunteering Cardiff
The Fair is a free event for students from all years and degree disciplines and takes place on Thursday 26 February, 11am-3pm, Great Hall, Students’ Union. There’s no need to book, drop-in on the day.
