Internships for first years – the early bird catches the worm!

Careers & Employability’s Information Team talk about Internships for first years …

Some employers are so keen to get students to work for them that they offer work experience opportunities right at the beginning of your university course. So you’ve only just got used to living away from home and worked out where all the seminar rooms are …. and they’re trying to recruit you already!

Believe it or not, several first-year internship schemes reached their application deadlines before Christmas! But don’t worry, there are more being advertised this spring. Some are just for first-years and others are for any year of study. Scroll down for a brief selection of what’s currently being advertised.
