Have you heard about our NUE finalists?

Have you heard our news…?

Following our blog post on 21st October we can proudly announce that Cardiff University has 3 (yes 3!), successful shortlisted nominations in the National Undergraduate Employability awards 2017. Congratulations go to the following:

Student Shortlist

  • Hristo Anastasov
  • Timothy Taylor

They have both been shortlisted in the Best Intern category. This Award celebrates intern students who have exceeded expectations and genuinely made a significant impact to their team, department or the business as a whole. Perhaps the student has directly impacted the company’s bottom line, or developed a new cost-saving system? There’s £250 up for grabs for the winning student too!

2 out of the 5 shortlisted candidates are from Cardiff University so we wish them both the best of luck.

University Shortlist

  • Cardiff University & Hugh James Solicitors

They have been shortlisted for the Best Collaboration between a University and Employer. This award celebrates the most effective and influential collaborations developed between a university and employer/s to offer students additional employability skills and opportunities.

Cardiff University has been working closely with Hugh James Solicitors for many years and we are very pleased that this successful working relationship has been recognised in this way.

What next?

The judges will have the final say on the winners in each category, who will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Friday 24th February 2017. We will be keeping our fingers crossed for you all!
