Here’s how the Careers & Employability Team can help you now you have graduated …




As a Cardiff University Alumni you still have access to a range of our services.


1. Your Careers Account
• Sign up for a Careers Account to access jobs, workshops, employer events and careers fairs.
• Book an appointment with a Careers Consultant (Two 15-minute appointments with an additional 30 minute consultation by referal only).
• Set up searches and alerts for job opportunities with organisations recruiting directly from Cardiff University.


2. Find an Internship
The Work Experience Team is on hand to help you find an internship in a local organisation. These paid internships, subsidised by Santander, are available all year round but there is greater demand for interns from May to September.

3. Build a Business
As a new graduate the Enterprise team are here to offer one-to-one business advice, access to business start-up skills workshops, access to free start-up office space for technology based businesses, networking opportunities and business mentoring and coaching.

4. Complete the Destinations of Leavers of Higher Education Survey
Please respond to the national Destinations of Leavers of Higher Education Survey when you are contacted in six months’ time. Every reply helps your School and University demonstrate that it remains a UK leader for graduate employment!
