Firstly observations of one of the highest energy gamma ray burst ever seen, detected back in January, have<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/feature\/goddard\/2019\/hubble-studies-gamma-ray-burst-with-highest-energy-ever-seen\"> identified where it originated<\/a>. Meanwhile, colleagues in Cardiff University have been searching for signs of a remnant neutron star at the heart of Supernova 1987A (which was observed to explode back in 1987) &#8211; and they may have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cardiff.ac.uk\/news\/view\/1726026-scientists-find-evidence-of-missing-neutron-star\">found crucial evidence<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>Closer to home, there are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/feature\/goddard\/2019\/nasa-scientists-confirm-water-vapor-on-europa\/\">more signs<\/a> of water vapour plumes erupting from Europa, and evidence that Hygeia, one of the largest objects in the asteroid belt, could be eligible to be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eso.org\/public\/news\/eso1918\/\">characterised as a dwarf planet<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Over recent months, there has been excitement about Comet Borisov, a comet which originated in another Solar System. Prof Alan Fitzsimmons, from Queens University Belfast, is one of a number of astronomers from all around the world <a href=\"https:\/\/eos.org\/articles\/interstellar-interloper-borisov-looks-like-a-regular-comet-for-now\">studying<\/a> this interstellar visitor.
