On this month&#8217;s episode I chatted to <a title=\"Prof Mark Hannam\" href=\"http:\/\/www.astro.cf.ac.uk\/contactsandpeople\/?page=full&amp;id=557\">Prof Mark Hannam<\/a> and <a title=\"Dr Patrick Sutton\" href=\"http:\/\/www.astro.cf.ac.uk\/contactsandpeople\/?page=full&amp;id=376\">Dr Patrick Sutton<\/a>. As part of the Gravitational Physics group here in Cardiff, Mark and Patrick try to understand the implications of General Relativity, and are leading the search for direct proof one of its last remaining predictions: gravitational waves.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday 9th December Cardiff University is hosting an <a title=\"Evening Reception: Einstein\u2019s Revolution and Public talks\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.cardiff.ac.uk\/physicsoutreach\/2015\/11\/24\/evening-reception-einsteins-revolution-and-public-talks\/\">evening reception<\/a> to celebrate the centenary, with free wine and soft drinks, and a selection of talks by Cardiff researchers.
