This month I chatted to <a href=\"http:\/\/lcogt.net\/user\/egomez\">LCOGT&#8217;s Edward Gomez<\/a>, who has been following proceedings,\u00a0about what this means &#8211; including that\u00a0the UK now holds the record for Europe&#8217;s first soft landing on another planet!<\/p>\n<p>But current and future missions have also been in the news. NASA&#8217;s Dawn spacecraft\u00a0is rapidly approaching Ceres, and New Horizons will whizz past Pluto in the Summer.
