Part of the European Space Agency&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/exploration.esa.int\/mars\/46048-programme-overview\/\">ExoMars<\/a>\u00a0programme, this robotic explorer will drill down up two metres to search for signs of microbial life beneath the Martian surface.
