They are primarily aimed at secondary school teachers, and teachers will take away:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Membership of a\u00a0<strong>Europe-wide community<\/strong>\u00a0of science teachers<\/li>\n<li><strong>Innovative and interactive<\/strong>\u00a0resources for a range of student ages<\/li>\n<li>Examples of\u00a0<strong>cutting-edge science<\/strong>\u00a0that can be used in the classroom<\/li>\n<li><strong>In-depth training<\/strong>\u00a0on using the\u00a0resources with a range of ages<\/li>\n<li>Training for using\u00a0<strong>online delivery and assessment<\/strong>\u00a0tools<\/li>\n<li>Use of robotic telescopes from all over the world in\u00a0<strong>your<\/strong>\u00a0classroom<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Funding<\/h2>\n<p>The cost of the course is free. The conference is offered in collaboration with the National Science Learning Centre. Funding for teachers, tutors, technicians and teaching assistants at state schools, academies and colleges is available through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencelearningcentres.org.uk\/about\/bursaries\/enthuse-awards\/\">ENTHUSE Awards<\/a>, in collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencelearningcentres.org.uk\/\">National Science Learning Centre<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.techniquest.org\/\">Techniquest<\/a>. Teachers eligible for the ENTHUSE Awards will get a \u00a3400 bursary, providing the three days of the conference are attended. Please use the links below to register for the bursary.<\/p>\n<p>Additional funding can be applied for. A detailed agenda will follow in due course.<\/p>\n<h2>Venue and logistics<\/h2>\n<p>The meeting will be held at the School of Physics and astronomy, which is a 15-20 minute walk from Cardiff Central Station, and 5 minutes from Cardiff Queen Street. We have also produced a\u00a0<a style=\"color: #9f9f9f\" title=\"How to Find us\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.cardiff.ac.uk\/physicsoutreach\/how-to-find-us\/\">map of the local area<\/a>.
