A Door Opens for Namibian Anaesthesia

13 February 2015

Two full on weeks of Anaesthesia Education Namibia are over. Its been a privilege for myself, Drs. Terblanche,  Hasan and Lloyd to be part of these doctors’ lives (thankfully Dr Lloyd passed the MCQ test). We know that the course has been successful, as we’ve seen the test results.  Everyone  has scored better, performed better in simulations and gained in confidence and knowledge.  Hopefully our anaesthetists will continue to grow in their knowledge and skills;  they already have superb attitude.  After a successful trip to Rundu, mostly our students are up for the second level course to be held there.

So its thanks to all in Namibia and home for the team.  We’re looking forward to our chickens, ducks, dogs, cats,  green fields, cold days and pancake Tuesday.  Generally looking forward to getting home to Wales.

See you soon!
