A postgraduate student used a converted ice cream van to teach people about cells, DNA and cancer research.
Jenny Wymant, a student in the Arwyn Jones research group, took part in the Science of Me engagement event at Techniquest. Jenny worked alongside Dr. Karen Reed from the School of Biosciences and Dr Ian Lewis, Associate Director of Research at Tenovus, in an ice cream van that had been converted into a mini-laboratory. The van provided a fun environment for teaching Techniquest visitors about cells, DNA and cancer research.
