{"id":559,"date":"2018-10-19T14:48:15","date_gmt":"2018-10-19T14:48:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.cardiff.ac.uk\/openaccess\/?p=559"},"modified":"2022-04-13T20:32:53","modified_gmt":"2022-04-13T20:32:53","slug":"celebrating-international-open-access-week-22-28-october-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.cardiff.ac.uk\/openaccess\/celebrating-international-open-access-week-22-28-october-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Celebrating International Open Access Week 22 \u2013 28 October 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>International Open Access Week, now in its 10<sup>th<\/sup> year, is all about promoting the potential benefits of Open Access publishing, and supporting the movement to make Open Access a new norm in scholarship and research.<\/p>\n<p>In support of this year\u2019s theme \u201cDesigning Equitable Foundations for Open Knowledge\u201d we will be promoting opportunities to publish research outputs openly, and showcasing some of Cardiff University\u2019s publications and PhD theses which are openly available to all readers. Look out for our daily blog posts throughout the week.<\/p>\n<p>For staff and students, we have arranged a series of talks from publishers which will take place at the University during Open Access Week.
