World Patient Safety Day: Putting People First with Frontier Medical Group

Every year on 17 September, the World Health Organisation marks World Patient Safety Day, which is a global call to action to make healthcare safer for all. Patient safety lies at the heart of quality care, yet is an area that requires constant innovation, collaboration, and vigilance.

💬 How do Frontier Medical Group’s products and services directly improve patient safety?

Multiple studies, including randomised controlled trials (RCTs), have demonstrated that patients using Repose are significantly less likely to develop pressure ulcers compared to other interventions. In fact, our most recent RCT showed incidence rates were reduced by half when compared with alternating mattresses, which are widely regarded as the gold standard in pressure area care.
