The titles are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Physics Letters B<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Nuclear Physics B<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Stem Cell Research<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The International Journal of Infectious Diseases<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Epidemics<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>EJC Supplements<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Physics Letters B<\/i> and <i>Nuclear Physics B<\/i> have been moved to an OA model as part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/scoap3.org\/\">Sponsoring Consortium for Open Access Publishing in Particle Physics<\/a> (SCOAP3) initiative.<\/p>\n<p>All seven journals will still be subject to the same editorial standards as OA journals as they were when they were subscription-based journals.<\/p>\n<p>Cardiff University staff and students can access articles from these journals (both pre and post January 2014) through <a href=\"http:\/\/librarysearch.cf.ac.uk\/\">LibrarySearch<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>More information about OA can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cardiff.ac.uk\/insrv\/forresearchers\/openaccess\/index.html\">here<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The press release announcing this move from Elsevier can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elsevier.com\/about\/press-releases\/research-and-journals\/elsevier-to-flip-seven-subscription-journals-to-open-access-in-2014\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"From January 1st\u00a02014 the STM publisher Elsevier has moved seven of its established journal titles to the gold Open Access (OA) publishing model.
