Other research councils may also follow the lead of the EPSRC.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cardiff.ac.uk\/insrv\/researchdata\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Research Data<\/a> web pages are part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cardiff.ac.uk\/insrv\/forresearchers\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Information Services for Researchers<\/a> website \u2013 they are focused around the\u00a04 key themes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing a proposal for research funding<\/li>\n<li>Completing your data management plan<\/li>\n<li>Managing research data effectively during your project<\/li>\n<li>Sharing your data and using the data of others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Under each theme researchers will be directed to guidance, FAQs, frameworks, policies, training and online tools from Cardiff University, UK research funders and external bodies.<\/p>\n<p>You can also find a list of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cardiff.ac.uk\/insrv\/researchdata\/contacts\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Key Contacts<\/a> on these web pages \u2013 staff at Cardiff University who can assist researchers with any queries they may have about open research data.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A new set of web pages have been launched to help and support researchers within Cardiff University focusing on the topic of open research data.
