We have upgraded and updated for the 2013\/14 academic year here in the Bute & Architecture libraries. After listening to your feedback we have made a number of improvements over the summer in the library, these include:<\/p>\n

Newly refurbished study areas<\/strong>\"Bute<\/a><\/strong>
\nThe study area below the Architecture mezzanine level, outside our main IT room (1.57) has been refurbished. You’ll now find new comfortable seating, desks and individual power points!<\/p>\n

There is now also a larger area of desks and seating for individual study in the Planning & Geography Journals room in the north corridor.<\/p>\n

New IT equipment
\n<\/strong>Our smaller IT room (IT Training Room 1.07) in the south corridor has now been refitted with 13 brand new widescreen desktop PCs. Our IT room in the Glamorgan Building<\/a> now also contains 30 new PCs.
\n\"Bute<\/a><\/p>\n

Group Study Rooms<\/strong>
\nGroup Study Room 4 in the Architecture Library now has a large display screen for use with laptops or the desktop PC provided, following the popularity of the screens in rooms 1 & 2. All four group study rooms can be booked at the main staff desks, for a maximum of 2 hours and a minimum of 2 people.<\/p>\n

Quiet Study Rooms
\n<\/strong>We have created a new area for quiet individual study above Group Study Room 2 (see the map).<\/p>\n
