{"id":78,"date":"2011-08-30T16:47:19","date_gmt":"2011-08-30T15:47:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.cf.ac.uk\/library\/westlaw-uk-appeal-status-tracker\/"},"modified":"2022-04-13T09:31:32","modified_gmt":"2022-04-13T08:31:32","slug":"westlaw-uk-appeal-status-tracker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.cardiff.ac.uk\/library\/westlaw-uk-appeal-status-tracker\/","title":{"rendered":"Westlaw UK Appeal Status Tracker"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cf.ac.uk\/insrv\/eresources\/databases\/westlaw.html\">Westlaw UK<\/a> has added an Appeal Status Tracker which enables users to track cases on appeal to the Court of Appeal (Civil Division) or the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n<p>With the Appeal Status Tracker comes a new &#8220;Appeal Outstanding&#8221; status icon which will appear next to search results and at the top of Cases Analysis Documents so that you can instantly tell if a case has an appeal in progress. The icon will sit alongside any exisitng status icon, but will be removed once there is an outcome to the appeal.<\/p>\n<p>Within the Case Analysis Document there will be a new &#8220;Appellate History &amp; Status&#8221; section, within which you can find the direct, reported progress of the decision through to appeal, with cases displayed in chronological order.<\/p>\n<p>Once the appeal judgment has been received it will be published\u00a0on Westlaw UK with the citations replacing the appeal status entry.
