This new UI will improve the user experience for all of our users &#8211; students,\u00a0academics and library staff.<\/h3>\n<h4><strong>When will we switch to the new UI?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Early August 2024. Please note you will not be able to add new reading lists before this date, although you will still be able to edit existing lists. Get in touch with your <a href=\"https:\/\/intranet.cardiff.ac.uk\/students\/study\/libraries\/subject-support\/subject-librarians\">Subject Librarian<\/a> if you would like them to upload a reading list on your behalf before the new UI is released.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>What changes will I see?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>You will notice a change in\u00a0the look of the reading list but most of the functionality will remain the same.\u00a0The user interface has been enhanced to simplify common tasks with a clear layout and user-friendly design.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"post-2581 media-2581\" class=\"image align-none\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.cardiff.ac.uk\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2024\/06\/Leganto-newUI-Lists-page-ENG.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"326\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"post-2582 media-2582\" class=\"image align-none\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.cardiff.ac.uk\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2024\/06\/Leganto-newUI-reading-list-ENG.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"701\" height=\"329\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Along with the updated design, several new features have been introduced:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>better usability on mobile devices<\/li>\n<li>easier adding of citations<\/li>\n<li>improved formatting for public notes (bold, italic, underline and URLs)<\/li>\n<li>better usage analytics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This page will be updated with more information as we get closer to the implementation date.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Ar y gweill\u2014 golwg newydd ar gyfer eich rhestrau darllen Yn dod ym mis Awst 2024: Mae Leganto, ein meddalwedd darllen, yn cyflwyno rhyngwyneb defnyddiwr newydd (UI).
