eBook Week
6 March 2014Cardiff University Libraries are celebrating eBook Week, from World Book Day on Thursday 6th March, until Wednesday 12th March.
eBook Week coincides with the launch of our new eBooks on Demand service, which allows Cardiff University users to rent 25,000 new eBooks free of charge. If an eBook is rented enough times, we’ll buy a permanent copy! http://blogs.cardiff.ac.uk/library/ebooks-on-demand/
Visit your library during the week and find out more about using the eBooks available for your subject.
There’s a range of activities taking place across the University Libraries during the week, including:
- Displays in libraries of the eBooks available and QR codes for easy access
- Sweets and prize draws
- Information and feedback posters
- Demonstrations
- Training sessions on how to access eBooks and get the most from them
As well as visiting the libraries, you can also tweet your comments and feedback about eBooks using #eBookWeek.
