However, the final part of the accounts was initially blocked\u00a0 by Wattpad\u00a0on the basis it\u2019s copyright material. According to the National Archives website, it isn\u2019t restricted material (see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalarchives.gov.uk\/information-management\/our-services\/crown-copyright.htm\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.nationalarchives.gov.uk\/information-management\/our-services\/crown-copyright.htm\u00a0<\/a>). The National Archives website states:\u00a0\u201dYou may quote or transcribe from Crown copyright documents freely and without formal permission. However you must give the document reference number and acknowledge The National Archives as custodian of the document\u201d \u2014 which I have done.<\/p>\n<p>Wattpad have now resolved the problem, but\u00a0as a back-up\u00a0I&#8217;ve put my transcriptions of the custodians&#8217; accounts for the Templars&#8217; estates in Herefordshire on to Academia.edu, and have attached the document which offended Wattpad here: <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.cardiff.ac.uk\/knightstemplarsestates\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/200\/2014\/01\/Herefordshire-accounts-in-TNA-E358_19.pdf\">Herefordshire accounts in TNA E358_19<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"My transcription of the accounts of the Templars\u2019 estates in Herefordshire is now on Wattpad\u00a0.
