ISRU Online Seminar Series
8 April 2020In light of the current situation we all find ourselves in, the International Studies Research Unit (ISRU) has moved online. We will be holding virtual bi-weekly Work-in-Progress seminars via Zoom for those who wish to engage with/listen to fascinating research from the broad field of international studies. Importantly, these sessions also offer an opportunity for us to be together in what can be isolating times. Audio content from the session will be posted to this blog following each event.
For those new to ISRU, it is a forum that focusses on the advancement of research and practice in the field of international studies. It is based in the Cardiff University School of Law and Politics and is an interdisciplinary research unit. The ISRU is open to everyone interested in research on global and international issues. It is an intellectual meeting place for scholars, practitioners, policymakers and civil society groups, and offers the opportunity to transcend disciplinary boundaries. At the centre of ISRU are activities that strengthen research in the field and enable the dialogue between theory and policy.
