As one of the most festive cities in the world, London becomes a magical winter wonderland during the month of December. It&#8217;s a Christmas lover&#8217;s dream destination, from dazzling lights to festive markets and shows. Last year, I planned my trips, and this pocket guide can point you in the direction of some of the must-see places and options that will make your Christmas in London genuinely unforgettable.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Christmas Markets:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<figure style=\"width: 341px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.cardiff.ac.uk\/insiders\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/523\/2023\/09\/Picture1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"341\" height=\"187\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hyde Park&#8217;s &#8211; Winter Wonderland<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>You can wander through charming stalls adorned with twinkling lights, savouring the scent of roasted chestnuts, you can find in any nook and corner with a mulled wine in the crisp winter air. <a href=\"https:\/\/hydeparkwinterwonderland.com\/\">Hyde Park&#8217;s Winter Wonderland<\/a> is one of the most famous spots with an ice rink, a Christmas circus, and unique gift-shopping opportunities. The riverside experience, the Southbank Centre Winter Market offers artisanal crafts and delectable street food.<\/p>\n<p>2. The city&#8217;s major streets and landmarks are adorned with breathtaking light displays that transform the night. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxfordstreet.co.uk\/\">Oxford Street<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.regentstreetonline.com\/\">Regent Street<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coventgarden.london\/\">Covent Garden<\/a>, and Kew Gardens all boast dazzling light displays.<\/p>\n<p>3. Ice Skating:<\/p>\n<p>For those students, seeking a thrill, there&#8217;s the opportunity to glide gracefully across outdoor ice skating rinks with iconic London landmarks as their backdrop. we can enjoy skating in front of the Natural History Museum, doing a few spins outside Somerset House, or circling the Tower of London.<\/p>\n<p>3.
