SEE Down Under…

Darrin Durant (University of Melbourne) teaches a 3rd year course on science and society that includes the SEE literature as part of a wider discussion of expertise and politics. One of his students, Gavin Scott, was so inspired — by both the reading and the teaching! — that he wrote an opinion piece for the New Matilda website, in which he highlights some of the ways in which Australian parliamentarians and PM advisory bodies are failing their citizens.
