This the website for research into expertise. It gives details of a number of current projects and also hosts a blog about the different research projects.

• Centre for the Study of Knowledge, Expertise and Science (KES): a research centre based in Cardiff School of Social Sciences that specialises in the sociological analysis of knowledge and expertise
• Studies of Expertise and Experience (SEE): a research programme developed by KES and which includes both empirical and theoretical work on the nature of expertise
• The Imitation Game (IMGAME): a large research project that investigates one of the major new types of expertise developed within SEE — interactional expertise — and, in so doing, has also invented a new research method
• Masquerade: an app for Android and iOS that allows you to play the Imitation Game on your smart phone or tablet
