{"id":438,"date":"2026-08-06T05:38:12","date_gmt":"2026-08-06T04:38:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.cardiff.ac.uk\/housing-law-wales\/?p=438"},"modified":"2026-08-06T15:25:54","modified_gmt":"2026-08-06T14:25:54","slug":"tidbits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.cardiff.ac.uk\/housing-law-wales\/tidbits\/","title":{"rendered":"Tidbits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are little morsels of housing news on which I will report briefly here.\u00a0 First up, there is the new issue of <a href=\"https:\/\/whq.org.uk\/2026\/07\/23\/new-edition-of-whq-out-now-5\/\">Welsh Housing Quarterly<\/a> which contains the usual, interesting range of articles, including an interview with Sian Gwenllian (nothing much there which hasn&#8217;t been discussed here),\u00a0 a nice piece on the implementation of homelessness reform, and a good piece by Tazu Walden from the IPPR on their research in to <a href=\"https:\/\/whq.org.uk\/the-magazine\/issue\/7383\/rent-controls-wales\/\">rent control<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve just signed up to the Bevan Foundation&#8217;s webinar, &#8220;Holidays or homes?
