Homelessness and Social Housing Allocation Bill – Addendum

This is a brief addendum to my post on Tuesday about this Bill to draw your attention to two important developments:

1. You may have received an email informing you that the Senedd Cymru’s Local Government and Housing Committee is scrutinising the Bill.  It has an online form you can complete here, and the closing date for receipt of written evidence is 20th June.  Get writing …
2. The brilliant Senedd research team, in this case the equally brilliant and friend of this blog, Jennie Bibbings, has a new web page with resources to support scrutiny of the Bill.  This includes a paper by Jennie B and Gwennan Hardy summarising the Bill.  The word summarising doesn’t do justice to this report, which is effectively an expert analysis, for example, of how the provisions of the Bill differ from the various underpinning documents.  It will be essential reading.
