**We are recruiting!**

We currently have one PhD studentship (to start before 01/2019) available within our group. 

A flexible PhD studentships, to work in any area of interest to the HCE group, is available. The position should start by 10/2018 or 01/2019.

Studentships

We are constantly seeking motivated and hard-working students (undergraduate/PhD level in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science) to join our research team. Each year, the group will take on a number of new researchers to work on our key projects.

Opportunities to undertake BSc, MSc and PhD level research are therefore available in several areas of catalysis engineering. Potential students are encouraged to e-mail Ceri directly for further information (hammondc4 at cardiff dot ac dot uk). 

PDRA positions and fellowships

Interested PDRAs are always welcome to discuss available projects, with e-mail being the simplest way. Potential PDRAs interested in applying for personal fellowship funding (e.g. Marie Curie, Newton fellowships,  are encouraged to contact Ceri Hammond directly to discuss the possibility of hosting projects within the group. Support with fellowship applications will be provided to exceptional candidates. 

Catalysis CDT

There are a number of potential studentships available at the CCI funded through the newly created EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Catalysis. These are fully funded for 4 years, and include an integrated MRes component. The CDT is looking for exceptional, highly motivated students to work on projects in the areas of catalysis (hetero-, homo-, bio-). These opportunities will be housed within newly refurbished laboratories in the Department of Chemistry, Cardiff University.
