Richard Penketh Sails for Mothers of Africa
11 May 2015
Well, if you remember, I asked for creative ways to raise funds for our charity Mothers of Africa and here’s one. Richard Penketh Consultant Obstetrician at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is braving the high seas to raise funds for the charity. (I’m calling him Admiral Penketh in Operating Theatre from now on!)
On 13th June Richard is going to do the Plymouth Eddystone race, 26 miles of high seas and high adventure. He has to try hard, the better the position, the more money for our charity, but better still, the more money he raises, the more more will be matched in prize money. So we must support him, please be generous and go to https://www.justgiving.com/penketh-Eddystone-Charity-Sailing-Race
