Paul Crompton: recognition for a life spent communicating
11 August 2014The Louis Schmidt award is the highest award of the international BioCommunications Association http://www.bca.org/about/about.html and www.bca.org/honors. This award was recently given to Mr Paul Crompton, Photographer and Director of Media Resources, Cardiff University and Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. The award was received by Paul in a high profile ceremony at the BioCommunications Association annual meeting Rochester, MN, USA July 2014. There is a nice biography of Paul on their website, update yourself on his achievements:

Through his photographs, Paul is a wonderful, insightful communicator and an inspiration to us all. His contribution to the health and well being of the people of Wales cannot be underestimated. Equally his contribution to the profile of the charity Mothers of Africa has been hugely contributive. I am forever grateful, that in a personal project, he chose to support Mothers of Africa. It is perhaps a cliché, but never short of true, and especially in Paul’s case: His pictures speak a 1000 words. Congratulations!
